Do I need a visa to go Sweden?

If you are a citizen of a country from outside of the EU you may need to apply for a visa to enter Sweden, but not always as Sweden is a member of the Schengen Cooperation. Which means that if you have a visa to travel to Sweden you can also travel to other member countries, or if you have a visa to another Schengen member country you can travel to Sweden with that visa. EU citizens don’t need a visa to visit Sweden.

If you obtain a tourist visa to Sweden you are allowed to enter and stay here for less than 90 days. Whether you need a visa depends on what country you are from.
